At long last, this gem from the Rolling Stones' prime has been synched and digitally restored after an absence of some 45 years. Shot on a quick tour of Dublin and Belfast in early September 1965, just weeks after "Satisfaction" hit, this is an intimate, behind-the-scenes diary of life on the road. A revolutionary documentarian, Whitehead records four concerts, but finds his richest and most spontaneous material behind the scenes, capturing a sometimes unguarded band who were just beginning to be affected by fan worship. This new 2012 version of the film with added never-before-seen footage was directed and restored by director Mick Gochanour and producer Robin Klein.
