The life of pianist and jazz great Thelonious Monk shows the offbeat genius performing live, and features interviews with friends and family.

Presented by "We Always Swing" Jazz Series, which will provide an introduction to the film from special guest Robin D.G. Kelley, author of "Thelonious Monk: Life & Times of An American Original."
