Rashida Jones, star of NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, transcends romantic comedy formula while creating a strong female protagonist in her refreshing screenwriting debut Celeste and Jesse Forever. Jones stars as Celeste, a driven business owner who amicably splits with Jesse (Andy Samberg of Saturday Night Live), her aimless husband and high school sweetheart. Celeste figures they can still be supportive best friends, a plan that seems to work until Jesse's buddies finally convince him to start dating. Elijah Wood, Emma Roberts and Ari Graynor co-star.
