David Cronenberg (The Fly, A History of Violence) takes on Don DeLillo's 2003 novel, which tracks a 28-year-old billionaire (Robert Pattinson) as he's chauffeured across Manhattan in a stretch limo. His goal is to get a haircut, but along the way, paranoia and a bizarre cast of characters get in the way. Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche, Samantha Morton and Kevin Durand take on supporting roles in this eerie, divisive film.
"Cronenberg does wonders with both the camera, especially inside the tight confines of limo, where many of the scenes are set, and with his star, coaxing a performance from Mr. Pattinson that perfectly works for the movie's sepulchral air." (Manohla Dargis, The New York Times)
